SOUTH Berkshire Ladies remain fifth in the Trysports Three Counties League Premier Division One table following a 2-2 draw at home to Oxford Hawks 3rds, writes Richard Ashton.

They travel to the team one place and three points below them in the table – Sonning 2nds – this coming Saturday.

South Berkshire 2nds dropped to third-from-bottom in Premier Division Two after they suffered a 2-0 reverse at Amersham & Chalfont 2nds. In Division Three, South Berkshire 3rds collected a 2-0 victory at cellar dwellers Harlow-High Wycombe, while Division Five leaders South Berkshire 4ths remain unbeaten, albeit they were held to a 0-0 draw by Wallingford 4ths.

South Berkshire men’s MBBO Regional Two game at Oxford 2nds was postponed. They host second-placed Witney this coming Saturday.

In MBBO Division Two, South Berkshire 2nds edged out Windsor 3-2 in a five-goal thriller.

A Sean Hardingham brace and a Desmond Sanders strike did the damage for the home side, Kev and Mike Jones replying.

In Division Three, Tom Pullen scored a hat-trick for South Berkshire 3rds, but they were beaten 4-3 by Banbury 3rds.

Dave Clark scored twice for the home side, with the other goals coming from Harry Loxton and Tom Boardman.

In Division Eight East, South Berkshire 5ths walloped basement boys Wycombe 6ths 6-1, while South Berkshire Terriers were knocked off the top of the Division Eight West table after their game at Oxford 9ths was postponed.
