SOUTH Berkshire men moved top of MBBO Regional Two as they extended their perfect record to three matches with a 6-3 home victory against Aylesbury on Saturday, writes Richard Ashton.

Daniel Ray scored twice to take his tally to four for the season, joint-top of the league’s charts, while Connor Eatwell, Neil Bennett, Sam Fox-Harvey and Tom King got the other goals.

Chris Hunter collected two of the Aylesbury goals, with Chris Mcintyre adding the other.

South Berkshire host Banbury 2nds on Saturday.

In MBBO Division Two, South Berkshire 2nds picked up their first point of the season with a 1-1 draw at Wycombe 3rds.

Sean Hardingham scored for the Bracknell-based side, while Raza Sheikh was on target for the hosts.

Tom Pullen scored a magnificent four times for South Berkshire 3rds as they secured a first Division Four victory of the season with a 6-4 success at home to Oxford Hawks 5ths in a 10-goal thriller.

Tom Scott added the other two for the hosts, with Hawks on the scoreboard courtesy of a Ben Hudson brace and strikes from Simon White and Steve Hudson.

South Berkshire 5ths battered Aylesbury 4ths 7-1 in Division Eight East, while South Berkshire Terriers also picked up a victory, overcoming Reading Rovers 4-1 to ensure they start the Division Eight West campaign with back-to-back victories.

South Berkshire ladies continued their impressive start to the Trysports Three Counties League Premier One season with a hard-earned 1-0 home win against Wallingford.

It leaves them with two wins and a draw from their opening three games, ahead of a trip to Oxford University 2nds this coming Saturday (12.30pm).

In Premier Two, South Berkshire 2nds possess the same record following their impressive 2-1 win at Newbury & Thatcham.

South Berkshire 3rds suffered a third straight Division Three defeat as they were beaten 4-0 at Banbury 4ths.
