BRACKNELL RFC return from their winter break with a trip to Berkshire rivals Newbury Blues this Saturday (3pm ko).

Bracknell will be searching for their first win in almost two months when they make the trip to Monk’s Lane.

The Lily Hill men have not tasted victory since a 31-18 success at Lydney in early November.

Dan Ap Dafydd’s side lost their next four fixtures after that, a run that finally ended with a 17-17 home draw against Bournemouth last time out.

But Bracknell, currently 12th in the South West Premier table, will be confident of success this weekend against a Newbury team sitting one place higher in 11th place.

Bracknell won the corresponding home fixture 16-15 in September, with Simon Bayliss scoring a vital try for the hosts.

Crowthorne RFC return to Berks, Bucks & Oxon Premier action with a home clash against Wheatley on Saturday, January 13.
