PREMIER Division leaders Crowthorne Inn were held to a 1-1 home draw by Bracknell Cavaliers, writes Nick Carpenter.

But they increased their lead at the top to four points over Twigg Vets who lost 3-1 at home to Finchampstead.

Crows got off to a perfect start with an early Liam Forde goal, but hard-working Cavaliers belied their league position and equalised with a Ted Munson strike from the edge of the area.

Both sides had chances to win it, but some wayward finishing meant it ended honours even, a result Crows would have been the happier with having been reduced to 10 men midway through the second half.

Reigning champions Finchampstead, boosted by the return of some injured players, coasted to a 3-1 victory over 10-man Twigg with Mark Harding, Byron Hobbs and Tayler Mitchinson scoring their goals. Chris Callaway hit Twigg’s reply.

FC Fernhill recorded their second win of the season with a 6-2 victory at bottom side TMW Wokingham & Emmbrook. James Langham and Nathan Onraet-Wells with TMW’s goals.

WAB are flying high in Division One and they chalked up their eighth win from 10, beating Berkshire All Stars 2-1. George Lovel and Tom Smith were on target, Sam Collins replied for All Stars.

A Josh Tighe hat-trick helped Winkfield FC beat Hurricanes 6-2. Winks’ other goals came from Marc Campbell, Bernie McDonagh and Paul Cooper.

In Division Two, Luke Blakeborough bagged an incredible seven goals for second-placed Woodley United as they thrashed Bracknell Athletic 10-2. Nathan Bingham (2) and Matt Leigh completed the rout.

Athletico Ascot slipped down to third after a 1-1 home draw with Bracknell Saint-Germain, while Braybrooke Athletic and Ashridge Park Royals also finished 1-1. Berks County remain fourth as they beat 3M 3-1 with goals from Tom Fraser, Mitchell Webb and David Amey.

Jack Cozzi and Conor Martley scored for WAB Reserves in a 2-1 win at Winnersh Rangers, whose goal came from Neal McDowell, which keeps them top of Division Three.

Woodley Saints won 5-1 at Berkshire United who had Lewis Smith on target, while Bracknell Falcons drew 3-3 with Winnersh Rangers.

Bearwood Wanderers beat Hope & Anchor 7-3 and Silver Birch defeated Bracknell Corinthians 4-1 thanks to Bradley Gibson, Owen Rich and Alex Dinnadge (2).

Division Four leaders Silver Birch A edged out Crownwood Dukes 6-4 after being pulled back to 3-3 and 4-4.

Bracknell Royals moved up to second with a 6-1 victory over Whitegrove Pythons 6-1, Ewan Joyce netting their consolation.

Finchampstead Sunday A won 4-1 at home against FC Harmanswater, while Bracknell Cavaliers Reserves trounced Bracknell Titans 6-1.

In the Berks & Bucks Junior Cup, Loveman United beat Newbold College 6-2. Binfield Royals will join them in the fourth round following their 3-1 win at Imann, as will Warfield United, who won 5-1 at home to Langley Old Boys.
