A GOLDEN Farmer XI will take on Bagshot Old Boys in a memorial match to honour late Bracknell Town & District Sunday Football League player, Ric Shaw.
Shaw, above, died in his sleep on Friday November 3, aged 33. He leaves behind a wife a four children.
Shaw, described as an ‘extremely talented player,’ enjoyed spells with a number of Sunday clubs over the past 16 years and was most recently with Golden Farmer.
A memorial match will now take place at Bracknell Town’s Larges Lane on Friday, December 8 (8pm ko).
BTDSFL’s Nick Carpenter will manage the Golden Farmer side, with John Hindley in charge of Bagshot.

Donations have also been flooding in for Shaw’s young family and a Just Giving page is close to reaching its £4,000 target.
A meat raffle held at the Golden Farmer pub on Sunday by landlord Steve Holden also raised £250.
Carpenter said: “The money raised will help support his four children and hopefully ensure Christmas can be made a little more enjoyable under the circumstances.”
Tickets to the memorial match cost £7.50 adults. Children go free.
Posters like the one above have been placed in a number of locations around Bracknell.
