George Hobden got the hosts off to the best possible start when he broke free before slipping the ball past City keeper Shaun Walker, and Dave Matthews then converted a penalty before Garry Sargeant’s diving header gave Farmer a 3-0 lead at the break.

Farmer got their fourth with a delightful move that resulted in the energetic Sargeant bagging his second of the game, before Matthews then saw his second spot kick of the game well saved by Walker.

FC Meta dropped a place to fourth as champions Finchampstead Athletic came away from Locks Ride with a 3-1 win – Tom Churchill-Cooper, Jack Pattinson and Tayler Mitchinson all on target for Finch.

WAB Reserves were awarded a walkover against Bracknell Falcons and Winnersh Town enjoyed the same fate as Berkshire United could not field a side.

Division Four leaders Silver Birch A wore down Finchampstead Athletic A 4-2, Crownwood Dukes beat Bracknell Royals 3-2 and Bracknell Cavaliers Reserves got past FC Harmanswater by the same margin.

In the Berks & Bucks Junior Cup, Raglan FC thrashed Ravens United 8-0, while Braybrooke Athletic crashed out of the Eric Holbrook Cup following a 2-1 home defeat to Darby Green & Potley Reserves.

AFC Crowthorne Reserves hammered Farnborough Athletic 5-1 and Folly Rangers smashed Bracknell Titans 5-0.
