A BRACKNELL teen has won the European title for kickboxing and has qualified for the World Championships.

18-year-old Nathan Stock won the 2023 World United Martial Arts (WUMA) European title in Gloucester on Sunday, May 14.

Nathan, a Bracknell Kickboxing Club fighter, won the British Championships in 2022 and has qualified to represent England at the World Championships in Greece in September.

His win in Gloucester reaffirmed his place in Greece by adding the Senior European title at -70k .

His instructor Baz Cilia said "Nathan won this competition very convincingly. This is another great result for Nathan and Bracknell kickboxing Club and bodes well for Greece in September."

Nathan's team mate Kloe Ward got through to the final and narrowly lost in a tough final to pick up Silver against a fighter who had weight and height advantage.

The club said: β€œIt was a great performance from Kloe.”
