Here are our player ratings from Reading's 2-2 draw with Huddersfield.
Luke Southwood - 4
Could do little about the opening goal but was to blame for the second goal with seconds remaining, letting it squirm underneath him. Looked a touch nervy when dealing with crosses into the box.
Tomas Esteves - 5
Looked very good in the first half driving up and down the wing but struggled a little in the second period and left too much space in behind him, which was punished late on.
Andy Yiadom - 5
Didn't look too out of place in an unfamiliar central role. Strong in the challenge. Embarked on a few risky forward runs which left his fellow defenders a bit short of cover. Made some important blocks.
Tom Holmes - 6
Brave in the air and keen to play the ball out from the back. Positioning let him down at points.
Omar Richards - 7
Tireless showing from Richards who kept marauding up and down the wing all game. Produced one vital last-ditch tackle which was the pick of an impressive bunch.
Josh Laurent - 5
His passing wasn't quite on point as he surrendered possession cheaply at points. Never quite got into his stride and reached the heights he has this season.
Alfa Semedo - 5
Conceded the free-kick which led to Huddersfield's goal but then won the penalty which Reading levelled from. Keen to get into the tackle but occasionally rash. Covered a lot of ground.
John Swift - 7
Dictated the tempo in the middle of the pitch, producing a very good performance in the deep lying playmaker role. Showed his range of passing all afternoon and picked out teammates with some stupendous sweeping balls.
Michael Olise - 8
Grabbed a goal with a well-taken spot kick and produced a lovely delivery for Meite's goal.Keen to seize the initiative with brave forward runs. Showed effortless skill to glide past Huddersfield defenders.
Yakou Meite - 7
Scored a brilliant header for Reading's second goal and did some brilliant work in terms of holding the ball up and breaking in behind the Terriers defence.
SUBS
Lucas Joao - 5
Some really nice hold-up play to bring others into play but struggled to keep control of the ball as he carried it.
Dejan Tetek - 5
Snapped at a few heels after his introduction and added some bite into the midfield.
Liam Moore - 5
Came on late.
