Here are our player ratings from Reading's 0-0 draw away at Middlesbrough.
Rafael - 7
Was quick to respond to a couple of dangerous moments in the first half, tipping two dangerous balls over the box. Didn't have much else to do for the remainder of the game.
Omar Richards - 6
Defended well and restricted the play on the Middlebrough right, but failed to support the attacks in the same way that we've seen in previous games.
Liam Moore - 8
Kept the scores level with a fantastic clearance off the line in the second half from Howson's volley and organized the defence effectively throughout.
Michael Morrison - 8
Characteristically imperious in the air again and showed some really nice touches to break out of a few tight spots.
Tom Holmes - 7
Had another decent showing in the full-back role, getting forward and providing a real asset on the overlap - especially in the first half.
Andy Rinomhota - 6
Broke up a lot of the play in the midfield with a really tenacious defensive performance but perhaps somewhat overzealous on occasion.
Josh Laurent - 6
Complimented his partners work with a similarly energetic display in the middle of the pitch. Passing was a touch sloppy at points.
Ovie Ejaria - 7
Was confident in taking on his man and came close with a couple of good efforts from distance, which he created for himself.
Michael Olise - 5
Eager to get on the ball, but his end product let him down today -with the exception of a fantastic shimmie and shot in the first half. Wasted a few chances to deliver the ball into the area with a couple of wayward set-pieces.
Yakou Meite - 6
Tracked back and supported the defence well and looked to take on his man and cut into the area at any opportunity, without much joy.
Lucas Joao - 5
Returned to the starting XI after his shoulder injury but failed to continue his scintillating form. Looked a touch hesitant to shoot at points and struggled to create any clear-cut chances.
SUBS
Alfa Semedo - 5
Looked to get on the ball and push Reading forward but struggled to make the killer pass.
George Puscas - 4
Struggled with Boro's physicality and the back and didn't really make an impact.
Sone Aluko - 4
Failed to follow on from a stunning showing against Watford and struggled to influence the play.
