Here are our player ratings from Reading's astounding 5-0 triumph away at Luton Town.

Rafael - 8

Commanded his area brilliantly on the rare occasions he was needed. Produced a good stop from Potts to maintain Reading's clean sheet late on.

Gabe Osho - 8

A few understandable early jitters from Osho in only his second start for Reading but other than that, a very solid showing. Strong defensively and full of intent on the overlap.

Tom Mcintyre - 9

A performance beyond his years from Mcintyre. Mature, confident, physical and intelligent. Looked composed and calm in possession which made an already impressive defensive display even better.

Michael Morrison - 8

Much more like the defender we've seen since his arrival. Commanding in the air and organized the defence with authority.

Tyler Blackett - 8

Briliant on his return to the side. Full of energy on the left hand side and provided an offensive outlet throughout. Some excellent deliveries into the area as well.

Andy Rinomhota - 8

Produced a typically energetic and tenacious display in the midfield and much like his partner Pele was outstanding in strangling Luton's midfield creativity.

Pele - 9

Simply outstanding. Won everything in the middle of the park and did not give the Luton Town midfield a moments peace all game.

John Swift - 9

Linked the defence and the midfield with supreme confidence and led the team in Liam Moore's absence.

Ovie Ejaria - 9

Back to his enigmatic best in the heart of the Reading midfield. looked on a different level to the Luton defence as he repeatedly beat them with ease.

George Puscas - 9

Produced a display he can be really proud of. Provided a couple of cutting passes that led ultimately to two of Yakou's Meite's goals. Thoroughly deserved his goal and should've been awarded a penalty.

Yakou Meite - 10

The perfect display. All that needs to be said.

Came on with the game already winding to a conclusion but still produced some tidy passes and looked good on the ball.

Plenty of energy but without much to show for it.

Omar Richards - 5

Came on and was solid when called upon.

Garath McCleary - 6

Drove at the Luton defence even with the game over as a contest and looked to cause even more problems.

Full of running and gave kept the pressure on the Luton back line.
