Eversley & California lost 2-1 at home to third-placed Walton & Hersham in Division One, but considered themselves a bit unfortunate not to have got at least a point.
They took a 10th-minute lead through Paras Gill, who was on hand as keeper Bert White dropped the ball, but did not hold it for long as the visitors drew level when Arif Hattabi's free-kick was deflected off the wall to leave keeper Liam Vaughan wrong-footed.
It was another set-piece which led to substitute James Young flicking the ball home to win the game for the Swans after 78 minutes.
The Boars remain third from bottom in the standings.
Sandhurst Town's home fixture with Epsom & Ewell was postponed due to the Bottom Meadow pitch being unplayable following heavy rain.
Their Reading Senior Cup tie against Holyport on Tuesday of last week also fell victim to the wet weather.
