BINFIELD will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to 11 Hellenic League games when the make the long trip to Lydney Town on Saturday – weather permitting.

The Moles, whose home game with Royal Wootton Bassett was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch last weekend, have not lost an away Premier Division game since going down 4-1 at Tuffley Rovers last October.

This has left them second in the table, 15 points behind unbeaten leaders Westfields with four games in hand.

Their last league defeat came in November when they were beaten 2-1 by Fairford Town.

And it is they who return to Hill Farm Lane next Monday (7.45), this time in the quarter-finals of the Bluefin Sports (UHL) Cup.

Wokingham and Emmbrook's eagerly-awaited fixture with unbeaten Division One East leaders Risborough Rangers was another victim of the recent wet weather.

The two sides are due to meet at Risborough next Tuesday (7.45pm), but before that fourth-in-the-table Sumas travel to Thame Rangers this Saturday.

ONLY one game survived the weather in the Bracknell Town & District Sunday League, with Silver Birch overcoming Division Three basement side 3M 4-2.
