CHINNOR extended their winning streak in the National League One to five matches after a 7-0 victory at Canterbury on Saturday.

The visitors to Merton Lane scored the game’s only try in the first half through the returning Ehize Ehizode, with Laurence May booting the conversion.

The success means Chinnor are now unbeaten in their last seven away matches and, coupled with Rams having their match postponed due to Storm Dennis, have moved up one place to third position in the league table.

Chinnor return to action with a mouth-watering visit to Kingsey Road from second-placed Rosslyn Park on Saturday 29th February (3pm).

Rosslyn Park are currently five points ahead of Chinnor in the race for promotion but there was little to separate the two sides in a 27-27 draw in the reverse fixture back in November.
