Mark Bowen could be set to welcome both Jordan Obita and Pele when Reading take on Leeds United at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon.
Reading take on Leeds United hoping to make it consecutive away victories in Yorkshire after last week’s impressive 3-0 victory against Sheffield Wednesday.
And Bowen could welcome back Pele and Jordan Obita to the midfield, with both players said to be in the manager’s thoughts ahead of the game.
Centre back pairing Matt Miazga and Tom Mcintyre remain sidelined through injury – as does Chris Gunter, who was ruled out for up to a month last week having picked up groin injury in the home draw against Hull City.
Lucas Joao is still out injured, although manager Mark Bowen issued a positive update on Joao at his press conference on Thursday afternoon, confirming that he was hopeful Joao would be available before the international break next month.
Lucas Boye also remains sidelined through injury, although he’s likely to return in the coming weeks.
