FOR the second week running, the local youth football programme was badly affected by the stormy weather.
FC Bracknell, however, recently held the latest of their weekly mini-tournaments which are part of their soccer school.
These schools runs every Saturday morning from 9-10am, at Farley Wood, RG42 1FW, and newcomers are always welcome.
It is a fun opportunity to learn or develop football skills in an enjoyable atmosphere.
In addition to coaching, FC Bracknell provides Futsal for those in the Under 7 to U9 age groups in partnership with Play Futsal UK.
The club also helps youngsters to get their FA referee badges, with Will Clarke the latest to pass his training course.
Ascot United U16 Youth were the only side in the club to overcome the weather last weekend, but they suffered a disappointing 4-0 League Cup defeat to Old Isleworthians.
