SOUTH Berkshire men lost ground in the race for the MBBO Regional Two title after they were held to a 4-4 draw at Marlow 2nds, writes Richard Ashton.

The division's top scorer, Tom King, bagged his 17th and 17th goals of the campaign for the away side, with the others coming from Kaya Campion and Harrison Scott.

Second-placed South Berkshire are now two points behind leaders Sonning, and have played a game more. They welcome Oxford 2nds to Cantley Park on Saturday (3pm).

In Division Two, table-toppers South Berkshire 2nds had to postpone their game with Tring, while in Division Three, South Berkshire 3rds drew 2-2 with Aylesbury 2nds.

South Berkshire 4ths remain fifth in Division Seven following their 3-0 victory at West Hampstead 7ths, and South Berkshire Terriers put Bicester 3rds to the sword in a 7-1 demolition.

South Berkshire Ladies are now only above the bottom two of the Trysports Three Counties League Premier Division One table on goal difference after they were edged out 3-2 at Oxford Hawks 3rds.

Holly Senior, Elizabeth Farrant and Elizabeth Hargreaves were on target for the home side.

South Berkshire – who sit 10th in the table – host the side one place above them in the standings, Maidenhead 2nds, on Saturday (1.30pm).

In Premier Division Two, second-bottom South Berkshire 2nds were thumped 7-1 at home by table-topping Phoenix & Ranelagh.

Bev Blackburn, Hannah White, Caitlin Edgar and Ashton Marriott were all on target for the away side.

Sandra Doddington and Erin Begley were among the goalscorers for South Berkshire 3rds as they climbed to seventh in the Division Two table following a comfortable 3-0 success against Wycombe 3rds.

In Division Five, second-bottom South Berkshire 4ths were crushed 5-0 at Aylesbury 3rds, Sandra Satterly and Kelly Goulding on target for the home side.
