THE Thames Valley League Select XI were knocked out of the FA Inter-league Cup at the first hurdle following a 4-0 home defeat to the Southern Amateur League.

Jordan Jones smashed home a superb hat-trick as Burghfield crushed Windlesham United 7-0.

Ross Baker also added a brace and Richard Dance found the back of the net, the other strike coming courtesy of an own goal.

A Nico Harris double was enough to help Wraysbury Village edge out Richings Park 2-1, Jack Bees with the reply.

Jake Wheeler scored twice for Maidenhead Town and Mitchell Burley and Lewis Critcher were also on target as Maidenhead Town overcame basement side Mortimer 4-2, Craig Haylett and Adam Cayzer netting for the visitors.

James Coker and George Balaam got the goals for Reading YMCA as they drew 2-2 at Eldon Celtic in Division One, while Rotherfield United won 3-2 at Woodcote Reserves in their derby.

Aaron Attfield, Dwayne Clarke and Liam Lukefield were the goalscorers for Rotherfield, with Nick Slatcher and Kyle Fraser replying for the hosts.

Wargrave thumped Cookham Dean Reserves 7-1.

In Division Two, a brilliant Barry Dunbar hat-trick and a goal from Dan Wake gave early leaders Datchet Village a 4-3 win at Richings Park Reserves.

Shay Dore bagged a brace for the hosts with the other goal coming from Neil Creasey.

A Jack Northway double and a goal from Jack Kennedy ensured Maidenhead Town Reserves won 3-1 at Phoenix Old Boys, while Harchester Hawks edged out Woodley United A 2-1.

A last-minute Tim Grenham strike rescued a 2-2 draw for Hurst Reserves at home to Henley Town.

Peter Jones was also on target for the hosts, with Daniel Chalfont scoring for Henley.

Joe Park and Tom Osborne scored for Maidenhead Town A as they won 2-0 at Berks County Reserves in Division Three.

Substitute Harry Voice bagged a brace to help Goring United win a seven-goal thriller 4-3 at Hambleden.

Dan Houseman and Josh Monk were also on the scoresheet for the away side, with Ben Phippen and Ben Rackshaw among the Hambleden hitmen.

In Division Four, Shaun Gray netted for Taplow United Vets in their 1-1 draw with Goring United Reserves, James Mugford replying.

A Tyrese Connor double and goals from Lewis Proctor, Chris Maynard and Rio Clifford-Lake fired Farnham Royal Mavericks to a 5-1 cruise against Phoenix Old Boys Development.

James Sayer and Ben Green were on target for Burghfield Reserves as they won 2-0 at Harchester Hawks Development.

Ashraf Ali scored for AFC Corinthians, but they were knocked out of the Berks & Bucks Junior Cup following an 8-1 hammering at Marcham.

Sean Graham, Matt Panton and replacement Chris Searle all netted for Berks County Rovers, but they went out 5-3 to Slough Heating Laurencians, but White Eagles advanced after Sutton Courtney Reserves conceded their tie.

Taplow United Development lost 5-0 to St Peter's Iver, Phoenix Old Boys Reserves were thumped 8-3 by Burnham Village, and Robertswood went out 2-1 at Iver Heath Reserves.

Vincenzo Cuva, George Goode and James Nwoseh got the goals which fired Marlow United Reserves past Gold Hill Baptist Church 3-1, and Mortimer Wanderers progressed 2-0 against AFC Aldermaston Reserves, Nick Lyskov among the goalscorers.
