WOODCOTE moved up to second in the Premier Division with a professional 2-0 home victory against Berks County, writes Richard Ashton.

The hosts took the lead around the hour mark when a fierce shot from Carl Self was only parried by the Swords' keeper, Woodcote captain Tommy Chapman firing home the rebound.

Five minutes later Self was again the provider, setting up Jake Dillon to secure the three points and a fourth win in six games for Sam Tucker's side.

Jordan Cox scored four times for table-topping Newbury as they continued their 100 per cent start with a 5-1 demolition of visitors Windlesham United.

Luke Gray also grabbed an injury-time goal for the hosts, with Tyron Cox grabbing the consolation for Windlesham.
