Will Legg top scored with 45 as the Oaks were bowled out for 196, Stuart Hornby (4-42) and Doug Macdonald (3-47) the pick of the Sully attack.

The visitors' reply proved disastrous, though, as Iain Muirden's astonishing figures of 8-11 saw Sulhamstead shot out for just 36.

Tom Andrews blasted an astonishing 187 as table-topping Binfield downed Finchampstead 3rds by 84 runs.

Wynand Lamprecht added 65 as the hosts posted an imposing 297-4 from their 45 overs, and despite skipper Ian Rose making 46 in reply, Rupert Warren's 4-42 ensured Finches were knocked over for 213.

Binfield travel to Sulhamstead this coming Saturday.

Eversley kept their Division 2a title hopes alive with a 108-run thrashing of hosts Maidenhead & Bray.

Alex Davidson (58), Byron Hickman (57 from 41 balls) and Alex Sykes (41) were all among the runs as the Boars were dismissed for 277, Max Thomas (3-60) the stand-out bowler.

Thomas (53) was the only batsman to really get going in the reply, and with off-spinner Tom Magowan grabbing 4-37, Maids were dismissed for 169.

Eversley face a potentially season-defining trip to leaders Ickenham on Saturday.

In Division 2b, basement side Royal Ascot (155) crashed to a 74-run reverse at Fleet, despite Jack Turner making 53.

Royal Ascot host Bagshot next Saturday.

Phil Higgs took 4-18, but Hurst's (104) outside promotion hopes were all but ended with a 27-run defeat to struggling Aldershot (104).

Tommie Predgen top scored with 57 as Finchampstead 2nds beat Reading by 45 runs.

Opening bowlers Jack Beaven (3-32) and Liam Jones (3-34) were the star performers for Reading as they dismissed the home side for 168, but only Phil Brennan (46) got going as they were knocked over for 123 in reply.

Matt Harper (4-20) and Andy Lazenbury (3-22) were the destroyers-in-chief for Finch.

Wokingham 3rds' Division 4a promotion hopes suffered a major setback as they were beaten by seven wickets at Newbury.

Ed Fox-Smith made 60 of the Oaks' total of 159, but that never looked enough as Sat Pal's unbeaten 85 guided Newbury to 163-3 in 32.1 overs.

Bracknell's relegation from Division 4a was confirmed as they lost by four wickets at Bagshot 2nds.

Karthik Ramanujam top scored with 48 as Bracknell posted 164-9 in their 45 overs, but the home side eased to 166-6 with 18 balls to spare in reply.

Bracknell travel to Wokingham 3rds for a local derby this Saturday.

Table-topping Eversley 2nds moved to the brink of promotion from Division 5b after an entertaining eight-run victory at Thatcham Town 2nds.

Matt Martin blasted a stunning 157 as the Boars racked up an impressive 274-8, but Thatcham kept in the game only to fall just short on 266-5.

Steve Jeffrey's 70 was not enough for Binfield 2nds (115) as they say their promotion hopes all but ended with a two-wicket defeat against Royal Ascot 2nds (116-8).

Tom Hibbs (53) and Jack Wrigley (47) were among the runs as Hurst 2nds (184-6) beat Theale & Tilehurst 2nds (183-5) by four wickets in Division 6b.

James Martin top scored for T&T with 90.

Finchampstead 4ths endured a chastening day at the office as they went down by 190 runs at home to promotion-chasing Purley on Thames 2nds.

Chris Priestley (89no), James Denton (56) and Raj Senniappan (54) all made half centuries as the Potters smashed 280-4, and Cyril Cox then took 5-18 to help skittle Finch for just 90.

In Division 7a, Wokingham 4ths (119) lost to Royal Ascot 3rds (168) by 49 runs, while Binfield 3rds (151) went down by 33 runs to Newbury 2nds (184-6).

Eversley 3rds' search for a perfect Division 8a campaign continued as they beat Thatcham Town 3rds by seven wickets to make it 15 wins from 15 games.

Rob Saunders (4-20) starred with the ball as the Boars bowled their opponents out for 129, and useful contributions throughout the order enabled Eversley to reach 130-3 from 31.3 overs.

Safwan Toqir struck an unbeaten 69 to guide third-placed Wokingham 5ths (207-4) to a six-wicket success against Theale & Tilehurst 3rds (205-6), Kevin Townsend top scoring with 66 for T&T.

The game between Finchampstead 5ths and Bagshot 3rds was abandoned without a ball being bowled due to Friday's heavy rain preventing the pitch from being playable.

Rock bottom Royal Ascot 4ths (135) lost by 98 runs to Bracknell 2nds (233-5).

Wokingham Oaks & Acorns conceded their Division 9a encounter to Eversley 4ths.
