Sudhir Nair (3-21) and Prashant Ghandi (3-28) did the damage as Cote were bowled out for 136, and Naveed Naseer then blasted an unbeaten 73 from just 61 balls to see Shinfield to 139-4 in just 22 overs.

Former leaders BCS slipped to second after losing by four wickets at home to Crowthorne & Crown Wood.
