Reading are close to signing Everton goalkeeper Joao Virginia on loan, according to reports.
Mais Futebol have reported that Virginia could link up with Jose Gomes as the Reading boss searches for a loan signing in a position where the Royals are lacking.
The Portuguese star, 19, was formerly with Arsenal and impressed at Everton last season in the U23s as they secured the league and cup double.
