Reading striker Marc McNulty is still very much a target for SPL side Hibernian.
The Edinburgh Evening News has reported that Hibs manager Paul Heckingbottom is still very interested in getting McNulty on board after a successful loan spell at Easter Road last season.
McNulty scored eight times for Hibs and also received a debut call-up to the Scotland squad and Hibs boss Heckingbottom believes the former Sheffield United and Coventry man would be extremely keen on the move too.
Heckingbottom told the Edinburgh Evening News: "I am not saying Sparky (McNulty) is 100 per cent not coming because we don’t know what is going to happen," said Heckingbottom in the Edinburgh News .
"Sparky would love to do it, but there is no guarantee. We can’t wait around, put all our eggs in one basket.
"[If we do] Then two things could go wrong, I wouldn’t be working with any players because they wouldn’t be in the building and we wouldn’t be getting first choices.
"We want to keep pushing and getting the first choice players we want."
