Reading fans will experience some of the most affordable tickets in the Championship next season.

All ticket prices have been frozen, or even reduced.

Those wishing to sit in the family stand this season will see their price be one of the lowest in the league.

Based on an adult sitting in the family section of a ground, if there is one, Reading rank eighth in the cheapest 2019/2020 Championship season.

The club are charging £305 to renew a season ticket in the family blocks of the Eamonn Dolan Stand and charging £325 for a new buyer.

The only clubs cheaper than Reading in this are:

Charlton Athletic- £210 (during the early-bird period, which is now over, the club are yet to announce the next phase of pricing)

Huddersfield Town- £249

QPR- £265

Hull City- Approximately £270 (Hull City have scrapped the season ticket system and gone for a monthly payment of £30 for this area)

Wigan Athletic- £279

Stoke City- £294

Cardiff City- £299

Meanwhile elsewhere in the ground, the cheapest overall ticket is £299 in the successful ‘Club1871’ section of the ground.

The ever-popular East and Lower West remain £375.

Finally, the most expensive ticket in the stadium remains the Upper West; however, it has seen a fall of potentially £50 to the £425 which they are charging for the upcoming season.

So, there is a lot to be happy about if you are looking to buy a season ticket at Reading.

More affordable football can only be a positive for the supporters.

More through the turnstiles can only help with the atmosphere and feel-good factor generated by Jose Gomes and the end of the previous campaign.
