EVERSLEY continued their wonderful start to the Division 2a season with a 154-run hammering of Chesham 2nds, writes Richard Ashton.

Jack Ford (106) and Tom Nichols (98) starred as the Boars racked up 282-4 in their 50 overs, and Nick McGuane then took 4-27 to skewer the visitors for just 128.

Eversley visit Marlow on Saturday.

In Division 2b, useful performances from James Watt (57), Lewis Smith (51, Phil Higgs (4-28) and Nick Reynolds (4-42) guided Hurst (252-6) to a 94-run victory against Henley 2nds (158).

Hurst host Reading on Saturday.

Division 3a leaders Binfield (205-6) beat Boyne Hill 2nds (157-9) by 48 runs, Wynand Lamprecht (57) and Duncan Wessels (5-22) doing the damage.

Binfield visit Cove 2nds this Saturday.

Chris White (45) and Adam Kite (42) were among the runs for Bracknell (210-9), but they were beaten by eight wickets by Wargrave 2nds (213-2) in Division 4a.

Bracknell host Newbury on Saturday.

In Division 5b, Binfield 2nds (125-5) beat Aldershot 2nds (124) by five wickets, while Jeremy Wing's 51 proved in vain for Royal Ascot 2nds (219-6) as they were edged out by one wicket at Boyne Hill 3rds (220-9).

Byron Hickman smashed a sensational unbeaten 169 as Eversley 2nds (289-8) battered Slough 4ths (101) by 188 runs.

Jake White made 58 for Hurst 2nds (178), but they lost by 106 runs to Purley on Thames 2nds (284-3) in Division 6b.

Paul Morgan took 5-14 before Dom Mathias hit an unbeaten 52 to lead Binfield 3rds (107-2) to a convincing eight-wicket win at Kidmore End 2nds (104) in Division 7a.

Royal Ascot 3rds (125-7) held their nerve to beat Newbury 2nds (123) by three wickets.

Bracknell 2nds collected 20 points after Boyne Hill 4ths conceded their Division 8a fixture.

Royal Ascot 4ths (145) slumped to a 112-run reverse against Bradfield 2nds (257-8), Paul Armstrong's unbeaten 84 setting-up the win for the visitors.

In Division 9a, Eversley 4ths (121-0) completed a perfect day for the club with a 10-wicket win against Reading 4ths (117), Dave Brooks ending 60 not out.
