WOKINGHAM & Emmbrook completed their Hellenic League fixtures with a 2-1 win over Penn & Tylers Green at Larges Lane on Monday, leaving them sixth in the Division One East standings.

They trailed at half-time, but the Sumas levelled when Connor Holland sent a looping header over the keeper and Elliott Rushford netted the winner by finishing off a neat move.

Holland and fellow teenagers Josh Harris and Ellis Day also impressed with their work rate, although the latter was forced off injured late in the first half.

It was an exciting game with both sides creating numerous chances and the two keepers making smart saves.

This was Wokingham's last game at the Bracknell ground as they will be moving back to Lowther Road next season.

On Saturday, the Sumas had lost 3-1 at home to Division One East runners-up Thame Rangers.

The visitors took an early lead with Rushforth going close to equalising before they made it 2-0.

After the hosts had Charlie Dean sent off – being the last man when committing a foul – Harris pulled a goal back, only for Thame to add a third goal.

Craig Faulconbridge bagged a brace for the winners with Tye Budziszewski getting the other.

Ascot United play their last league fixture on Easter Monday when they visit Flackwell Heath and will be looking for a good performance before starting to prepare for the Hellenic League Cup final against Windsor at Ardley on Bank Holiday Monday, May 6.
