IN the Combined Counties League, Eversley & California defeated fellow Division One strugglers Kensington Borough 3-0, all the goals coming in the second half.

Connor Allston broke the deadlock before Ryan Whyte and Liam Whyte extended the lead.

The visitors had a chance to pull a goal back from the penalty spot, but it sailed high over the bar.

The Boars remain third from bottom, one rung lower than Kensington, ahead of their final home game against Chessington & Hook United this coming Saturday.

Fleet Spurs, one of two sides below Eversley, proved tough opponents for Sandhurst Town last weekend, holding their sixth-placed visitors a 2-2 draw.

Ashley Ledger tapped in the Fizzers' opening goal just after the half-hour mark, but within nine minutes the hosts were on level terms and they took the lead on the hour.

There were just five minutes left when Grant Kemp netted the equaliser with a low shot into the corner and Sandhurst nearly grabbed a winner in the final stages, hitting the bar and seeing another effort cleared off the line.

Fizzers are away to Epsom & Ewell this Saturday and complete their fixtures at Tooting Bec on Monday.
