THE race for the Bracknell & District Sunday League Division One title looks set to go to the wire as the top two both won again.
Leaders Berks County overcame Bracknell Athletic 3-2, while second-placed Loveman United – level on 36 points but with an inferior goal difference of +24 compared to +29 – beat Woodley United 1-0.
AFC Crowthorne Stiffs also have a goal difference of +29 and sit three points adrift with a game in hand after downing Wokingham & Emmbrook TMW 2-1.
In Division Two, Woodley Saints won 3-1 at Bracknell Corinthians to strengthen their chances of a runners-up finish.
Hope & Anchor picked up a 2-0 win at Division Three tailenders Silver Birch A, while Winnersh Town beat Bracknell Cavaliers 3-1.
FC Fernhill reached the final of the Aldershot Cup with a fine 6-3 victory at Waterloo, while Bracknell Cavaliers Reserves are into the last eight of the BTDSFL Subsidiary Cup following a surprise 3-2 success at Running Horse.
