EVERSLEY will begin their Thames Valley League Division 2a campaign under new captain Tom Howorth with a home encounter against Windsor when the new season starts on Saturday, May 11.

Howorth takes over the reins from all-rounder Chris Last, with the Boars due to visit Tring Park 2nds in week two.

They finish their season at Kidmore End on Saturday, September 7.

The other teams in the league are Chesham 2nds, Marlow, Kew, Maidenhead & Bray, Ickenham and Amersham 2nds.

The opening five weeks and final four weeks will be played as 50-overs-per-side win-lose, with the middle weeks contested under the traditional 'timed' (52-48) rules.

Eversley 2nds will play in Division 5b, the 3rds in 8a and the 4ths in the 13-team Division 9a.

Royal Ascot 2nds kick-start their Division 2b efforts with a home game against Hurst.

They then travel to Aldershot on May 18, concluding their season at home to Reading, while Hurst are at home to Bagshot in week two, ending at Thatcham Town.

The other teams competing in the division are Finchampstead 2nds – who visit Beaconsfield on day one and conclude at home to Fleet – and Henley 2nds.

Royal Ascot 2nds will compete in Division 5b, their 3rds in 7a and the 4ths in 8a, while Hurst 2nds are in Division 6b.

Finchampstead 3rds are in 3a, the 4ths in 6b and the 5ths in 8a.

Newly-promoted Binfield will begin life in Division 3a with a home game against Farnham Royal, followed by a trip to Slough 3rds.

Mike Staves' side end their season at home to Purley on Thames, while Wokingham 2nds will also compete in the division along with Cove 2nds, Boyne Hill 2nds, Sulhamstead and Falkland 2nds.

Binfield 2nds were also promoted at the end of the club's first foray into the TVL, and they will play in Division 5b, while the 3rds switch from the Berkshire League to take a slot in Division 7a.

Binfield have entered a 4ths in the BCL, while Wokingham 3rds will play in 4a of the Thames Valley League, the 4ths in 7a, 5ths in 8a and 6ths in 9a. They will also run a 7ths in the Berkshire League.

Bracknell's Division 4a campaign begins at White Waltham, continues at home to Sonning and ends at Reading 2nds.

The other teams in the division are Newbury, Bagshot 2nds, Theale & Tilehurst, Wargrave 2nds and North Maidenhead 2nds.
