HURST crashed out of the Junior Cup after AFC Aldermaston Reserves came from behind to record a 5-1 drubbing of the away side.
Shaun Bannon’s stunning 25-yard free-kick gave Hurst a 35th-minute lead, only for Michael Porter to level almost immediately before Luke Mitchell put the hosts 2-1 up at the break.
Porter grabbed his second a minute into the second half, and Mitchell completed his brace with a quarter-of-an-hour remaining to effectively kill off the game.
And any doubts were removed five minutes from time when Dean Brookfield completed the scoring with his first touch after coming off the substitutes bench.
Simeon Weekes got the only goal of the game as Wokingham & Emmbrook Reserves edged out Cookham Dean Reserves 1-0.
Westwood United Reserves progressed with an excellent 3-2 victory at Taplow United, while Newbury are also through after Reading YMCA Rapids conceded their tie.
Westwood United were knocked out of the Senior Cup 5-2 after extra time by Holyport.
In the Jubilee Cup, Matt Panton and Chris Searle both struck for Berks County Rovers, and along with an own goal, they were able to knock out Woodley United A 3-2.
