LONDON Irish made it five Greene King IPA Championship wins from five with a convincing 54-17 bonus-point triumph at London Scottish.

Exiles made the perfect start as full back Tom Parton crossed in the fourth minute, Stephen Myler converting, but the hosts levelled through Mark Bright and a Rory Jennings kick.

Irish moved back in front with Brendan Macken scoring a second try in as many games, Myler again landing the extras, before Bryce Campbell powered over for a third converted score.

A Jennings penalty cut the gap to 21-10, but Declan Kidney's men wrapped up the try bonus-point in just the 28th minute when Italian internation Luke McLean went over following good work from Myler.

The fifth try arrived on the stroke of half-time as Matt Rogerson powered over, and with Myler again faultless from the tee, London Irish went into the break 35-10 to the good.

Scottish were reduced to 14 men in the 54th minute when Tijuee Uanivi was penalised at the breakdown, and the visitors took advantage straight away when Danny Hobbs-Awoyemi set up replacement Ofisa Treviranus to score with almost his first touch since coming on.

Saai Fangia'a grabbed Irish's seventh try before they were reduced to 14 men with Brendan McKibbin sin-binned, and Scottish went over through Henari Veratau.

It was Irish who had the last word, though, Ollie Hoskins dotting down before Ben Meehan added the conversion.

London Irish will look to maintain their perfect start at home to Yorkshire Carnegie on Saturday (3pm).
