SOUTH Berkshire Ladies made it two Trysports Three Counties League Premier Division One victories from two games with a 3-0 home success against Marlow 2nds, writes Richard Ashton.
It followed on from their 3-0 triumph at Sonning 2nds the week before, and they will hope to make it three wins in a row when travelling to Newbury & Thatcham this coming Saturday (1.30pm).
In Division One, South Berkshire 2nds bounced back from their opening-day 3-2 reverse at Abingdon to secure a first win of the season in a 3-0 cruise against Oxford 4ths on Saturday.
South Berkshire 3rds were brought back down to earth following their 2-0 home success against Amersham & Chalfont 4ths as they were overcome 4-2 at Maidenhead 4ths in Division Three, while in Division Four, South Berkshire 4ths drew 1-1 with Harlow-High Wycombe.
They lost their first game 1-0 at Windsor 2nds.
South Berkshire men were beaten 3-1 at Newbury & Thatcham in their opening MBBO Regional Two game of the season.
Harrison Scott netted for South Berks, but a Luke Barrington hat-trick guided the home side to victory.
South Berkshire will aim to kick-start their season at home to Banbury 2nds on Saturday.
Des Saunders scored for South Berkshire 2nds, but they lost their MBBO Division Two opener 2-1 at home to Windsor, Paul Hayes and Kev Jones the goalscorers for the visitors.
In Division Three, South Berkshire 3rds were walloped 10-0 at Amersham & Chalfont 2nds.
Geoff Brown scored a hat-trick, Warren Scott and Luke Brown bagged braces and Michael Bristow, Tommy Davies and Michael Vallance completed the rout, but South Berkshire 4ths beat Wallingford 4ths 3-2 in Division Eight West.
