WOKINGHAM Ladies held their annual President v Captain’s charity match in glorious sunshine on Sunday.
Every player wore bright colours to enhance the occasion and £200 was raised for Thames Valley Air Ambulance.
The club says the score of the friendly match ‘remains a secret’ because ‘there were no losers.’ Unfortunately, the men’s President v Captain’s day was cut short by rain.
However, captain David Smith and president Sam Welsh took the match ‘indoors’ in the form of a quiz, raising £227 to sponsor two puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind.
