  • BRACKNELL Town & District Sunday Football League officials and players are expected to turn out in big numbers for the funeral service of Paul Denman at Easthampstead Crematorium this Friday at 4.30pm.

He spent much of his life supporting the grassroots game.

He was the manager of William Twigg Albion FC, who between the 1981-82 and 2011-12 seasons lifted 18 trophies, including nine Premier Division titles in 10 years from 2003.

During that time they also won nine Senior Cup finals.

Denman also assisted the league committee, taking on the roles of fixtures secretary and results secretary, in addition to managing their representative team.
