BRACKNELL skier John Clifford picked up gold and bronze medals at the Gatineau Loppet cross-country skiing championships held in Ottawa, Canada.
He was the only competitor from the United Kingdom and celebrated his 70th birthday only two days before the races.
While competing he also raised money for the Alzheimer’s Society, having previously fundraised for RNID, RNIB, RNLI, Samaritans and MacMillan Cancer Support.
