EVERSLEY & California’s poor form continued as they dropped to seventh in Division One of the Combined Counties League following a 2-1 home defeat to Ash United.
The away side took a 20th-minute lead when Luke Cairns found the back of the net, but the Boars showed some resilience to level matters.
However, the decisive blow came 16 minutes from time when Neil Hardy struck for Ash, and they held on for a win which leaves Eversley with just one victory in seven games.
Eversley & California will try and regain the winning feeling when they host fourth-placed Badshot Lea on Saturday (3pm).
