BRITISH forward Callum Fowler has left the Bracknell Bees.

The 24-year-old player – who joined the club from Invicta Dynamos in the summer – had requested an early release from his deal, and the club reluctantly agreed to allow him to leave last week.

In 13 regular season games for the Bees this campaign, Fowler had registered six goals and 10 assists for 16 points along with six penalty minutes.

He also picked up two man-of-the-match awards.

Bees chairman Andrew Cross paid tribute to the player’s efforts and said: “I would like to thank Callum personally for his efforts this season.

“His attitude and commitment whilst with the team was impressive and he will compliment any team he goes on to join.”

Fowler is the second player to leave the cash-strapped Bees in the past fortnight, with Frantisek Bakrlik also departing for Milton Keynes Lightning.
