They beat the visitors by 36 runs thanks to an outstanding all-round performance from Mo Khan who hit 77 runs then claimed 6-30 with the ball to clinch a maximum 25-point win.
Delighted Bracknell skipper Ian Shaw said: “It was good to get a win and move us into a safer position in the league. The team spirit and fight was great. We never gave up and managed to post a competitive total for our bowlers to attack.” Bracknell were asked to bat and limped to 121-7 from 44 overs in the face of tight North Maids bowling led by Adeel Ashraq (3-27).
But the home side fought back from there thanks to a crucial partnership between Khan and Paul Bray, who finishd unbeaten on 37, to push Bracknell’s score to a respectable 204-9 from their 52 overs.
Bracknell then took a wicket with their first ball of the day and North Maids continued to struggle against the home team’s attack led by the brilliant Khan.
He finished with 6-30 from 16 superb overs as Maids were dismissed for 168 in reply in the 46th over.
The win leaves Bracknell 21 points above the drop zone ahead of a trip to Slough 3rds this Saturday.

They dismissed Yateley for 111 before knocking off the runs in under 25 overs for the loss of two wickets.
