JEWELLERY was taken during an overnight raid, leading police to issue a warning to residents.
A property on Bathhurst Road, Winnersh, was broken into on Wednesday January 17.
The offender is believed to have gained access to the home by climbing on top of the conservatory and getting into the house from there.
They then proceeded to search the house, before taking jewellery, a wallet, cash and a scarf, before fleeing the scene.
The day before, on Tuesday 16 at 7.30pm, police were called after a resident complained about three men acting suspiciously outside their home.
The men were stood outside the property on Westfield Road, Winnersh, before the homeowner came down to find their floodlight had been kicked to the floor and smashed.
Police are unsure as to whether or not these two offences are linked.
Thames Valley Police issued the following advice: "If you see or hear anything suspicious ring the police on 101.
"If you see something happening to someone’s house and you think someone may still be there ring 999."
