THE TOWN library has released the October schedule of activities.

On October 4, Meredith Towne will be visiting the Wokingham library to teach a session about fashion and supporting the war effort during both world wars.

Kathy Martin will be in the next day to discuss popular consumer brands with her 'The Good the Bad and the Unlucky' seminar.

In a change of pace from fashion and consumer brands, Dr Mike Darlison will be holding a medical talk on Thursday October 12.

Dr Darlison will be presenting memories from his time at Woosehill medical practice in his 'So you want to be a GP?' speech.

In time for Halloween, a Quilling Workshop will be coming to the library, teaching quilling and card making techniques.

Outside of the library, the Walking Book Group at Dinton Pastures will be discussing Me Before You, by Jojo Moyes on October 11.

The Human Factor will finish off the month, with John Harrison presenting a talk about how human factors play a vital role in our technological world.

The talk takes place on Thursday October 26 at 5:45.
