Channel 4's new show Vardy v Rooney: A Courtroom Drama is based on the recent Wagatha Christie trial, following the story of one of the most discussed libel cases ever brought to the High Court.
The case saw two of the most well-known 'footballers' wives face scrutiny after Rebekah Vardy tried to sue Coleen Rooney for defamation.
The origins of the dispute began over claims that Vardy leaked stories about Rooney to The Sun after Vardy shared a statement online sharing her claims.
The court cases only ended a few months ago and will be almost entirely set in the courtroom with the script using real court discussions.

Stars of Hollywood feature in the drama with Michael Sheen best known for his role in Good Omens and Twilight featuring in the cast.

How to watch Vardy v Rooney: A Courtroom Drama
The drama will be on Channel 4 and All 4 starting on Wednesday, December 21 at 9pm.
Altogether there will be two episodes both an hour long with the second on Thursday, December 22 at 9pm.
