Bracknell's unsung heroes were heralded at a glittering ceremony this evening ( Friday).
Winners included four-year-old year Jamie Turvey, who won the Child of Courage, 93 year old Jessie Ritchie and Judo legend Don Werner.
Carol Clayton who fostered 81 children over 25 years won the prestigious My Hero category.
She said: "It is absolutely fantastic. It is something we do because we enjoy it and that is a reward itself but this is amazing."
