A PRE-SCHOOL that faced closure due to a lack of committee members will live to teach another day.
In October The News reported that Binfield Preschool was facing a leadership crisis.
Celine Reed, former parent and current chairperson, warned if willing parents did not volunteer themselves by its annual general meeting on November 1, the charity run, committee led school would be forced to close.
At the time she said: "There are simply not enough people on the committee, and it has to have a minimum number of members.
"Normally it is parents but this year they don't seem to want to take on the responsibility."
Luckily for the 20 two to five year-olds who attend one of the Memorial Hall and Jocks Lane Pavillion sites, the positions have now been filled.
Ms Reed continued: "Following the article online I did get a couple of emails but the people didn't come to the meeting.
"A few parents and staff's partners have stepped up so preschool is safe for a little longer."
