A LOST pair of tickets to a sought after American Football game were returned to their owner by a kind-hearted Bracknell resident.

Becky Vaughan found two golden tickets for the Arizona Cardinals and LA Rams NFL match at Twickenham lying on the floor in a park, both worth £84.

Instead of going to the game, which finished with a 33-0 rout for the Cardinals, Becky Vaughan managed to reunite the tickets with their original owner.

The 32 year-old from Crown Wood explained: "We were walking our puppy in Peacock Meadows on Sunday morning and we found a ticket for the game lying on a path and a little further on, another in a bush.

"I posted a picture to the local Facebook sites to try to locate the owner.  The grounds opened at 12pm so we were worried that the owner may well be on their way to the game.

"We were contacted by a lady called Penny who had a friend who lived in Jennetts Park who was due to go the game.  The owner didn't have Facebook so we gave her our mobile number to pass on to him.

"We were heading out on holiday within the hour so we left the tickets with friends just over the footbridge in Amen Corner."

Ms Vaughan spoke of her delight at being able to get the tickets back to their owner.

"Once we spoke to the owner, Nick, he was able to confirm some very specific writing on the back of the tickets and he cycled over to collect them," she continued.

"By all accounts Nick and his son had a brilliant time at the game."

Ms Vaughan also admitted she rejected payment from the owners of the ticket.

She said: "He had dropped them on his way to church that morning. They were ecstatic apparently, and collected them from our friends as we were heading down the M4 at the time."
