A town in Berkshire has the best life expectancy, according to a new list from the Sunday Times.
The paper has recently released a breakdown of the best places to retire in the country, using research from health technology company Health Connect Global.
Life expectancy is one of the key factors used to build the retirement spot rankings, and Wokingham comes out on top.
"People live longest in Wokingham," the Sunday Times said, revealing residents of the town enjoy an average life expectancy of "just over 84 years".
Wokingham also scooped a high score in the paper's overall ranking of the best place to retire, coming in at a very respectable sixth place.
The overall best place to retire ranking, which the paper dubbed their 'Growing Old Index', was based on six main factors including life expectancy, GP access, A&E wait times, number of care home beds, and the Office for National Statistics happiness index.
