A main road in Wokingham is going to be closed next week due to work needing to be done on a diseased tree.
Reading Road will be closed on Monday (October 28) and Tuesday (October 29) from 7am to 6pm both days.
There will be no vehicle access allowed during this time and only pedestrians will be able to use the pavement on the Holt Land side of the road.

Wokingham Borough Council reminded residents of the closure online, writing: “The closure is to allow St Pauls Church to carry out work on a diseased tree in the churchyard.”
Residents are not pleased with the closure, stating it would be ‘less disruptive’ to remove the tree.
Others suggested it should be done at night.
