A person has sadly passed away after falling onto the tracks at Earley Railway Station this morning (6/8).
At around 10:25am on Tuesday, August 6, emergency services and members of the British Transport Police were called to the train station following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
Trains between Reading and Wokingham were canceled during this time as paramedics and emergency services rushed to help the person on the tracks.
The British Transport Police have announced following the incident that sadly the person was pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokesman for BTP said: “The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.”
