A PUBLIC right of way road has been closed near Brize Norton due to the 'long-term' construction of a new housing estate.
The Burford Road will be closed both ways from Minster Road to B4477 Monahan Way until October.
A permit has been granted for the closure of the public right of way access of the road, which runs from Burford Road through to Carterton Road to allow the new housing development to be constructed safely.

Oxfordshire County Council granted the permit for the works in 2021, according to Causeway One.Network. An end day has been scheduled for October 1 this year.
The site does not state which new development is going in this space.
