A man who stole hundreds of pounds of goods - including two air fryers - from Wokingham shops has been given a community order.
Daniel Spencer, 34, of Blagrove Drive in Wokingham, pleaded guilty to four counts of theft from a shop.
He appeared before Reading Magistrates' Court on March 18 for sentencing.
The court heard of some of the unusual goods sought out by Spencer.
He stole an air fryer worth £119 from the Original Factory Shop in Wokingham on December 28, 2023 - and then another from the same shop on January 23 this year.
He also stole £225.50 of food from the Wokingham Co-op on January 18, as well as £133.20 of meat on January 23.
Although the thefts amounted to hundreds of pounds, magistrates handed Spencer a community sentence.
Under the terms of this, he will be required to provide samples for compulsory drug testing for a year.
In addition, he has been ordered to undertake 100 hours of unpaid work within 12 months, and to carry out rehabilitation activities.
He must also attend a thinking skills workshop.
