Wokingham Borough Council are encouraging their residents to celebrate the town's Wargrave Library, who is seeing in its 100th year.
Tomorrow May 1, villagers and volunteers will come together for a day of celebration.
There will be a coffee morning from 10am to 12 noon and two crating sessions in the afternoon, with one for adults (2pm to 3.30pm) and another for children (4pm to 4.45pm)
A council spokesperson said "Thank you to Wargrave Local History Society for providing us with some interesting images of the library from a bygone era.
"The top-right photo was taken when the library was on the first floor. The room on the ground floor where the library is now was used as a dining room during the second world war.
"Thank you to the many volunteers who help manage the library and serve the community."
When the library opened in 1924, it had a stock of just 100 books.
