An all new children's soft play area is preparing to open in Bracknell.

Images of the inside of the area, soon to launch inside Bracknell Leisure Centre, have been revealed - showing slides, bridges and climbing areas.

It comes nearly a year after Whoosh, the former play area, closed.

The business announced on their social media page that they would be closing on July 8, 2023, due to the refurbishment of the leisure centre in partnership with the council.

Since then, £1.9million has been invested into the leisure centre, creating a brand new spa, spin studio and soft play area.

It is set to reach its completion at the end of April, but no date has yet been given for the opening of the soft play area.

The children's area will have two new party rooms and seating areas which will offer spaces for birthdays and other celebrations. Coffees and snacks will be served in the space.

The soft play will be open Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm and weekends 9am to 5pm.

Inside the play space are two slides, a net bridge, an interactive indoor football area and a soft play area with shapes.

The leisure centre has outlined how all sessions must be pre-booked up to 14 days in advance, each lasting 90 minutes.

The soft play area costs £7.50 per child at off peak times and £10 during peak times.

In a statement from Mark Tennant, the Contract Manager for Everyone Active last month, he said: "We’re thrilled by the remarkable strides we've made and can’t wait to unveil the stunning improvements next month.

“We look forward to seeing the local community take full advantage of the refurbishment and use these opportunities to keep active and improve their health.”
